Filling Options
Treating decay early means that you can have a smaller, less-invasive filling. Removing all of the decay and rebuilding the tooth with a restoration prevents the disease from spreading to other teeth.

Endodontic (Root Canal) Therapy
Once decay, infection or damage has made its way into the nerve of a tooth, quick steps must be taken to prevent loss. A root canal removes the damaged nerve inside of the tooth and fills the canal to prevent any recurrent infection.
After a tooth is treated endodontically, a crown must be placed over it to avoid unnecessary wear or fractures.
X-Ray Screening
How can you know if your tooth is decayed or infected? During your exam, our Falcon dentists may order X-rays to screen for problems before symptoms are present. Catching the infection early is the best way to avoid complex treatment.
